Does Facebook posting need a computer running?
Yes. Facebook posting and scheduled reposting run through the ProfIT Chrome extension on a computer at your dealership. At the repost time you choose, that computer should be on, connected to the internet, and not asleep or locked. Our team installs and tests it during setup.
Do I need to change my website?
No. During setup our specialist reviews how your website works and connects it to ProfIT correctly.
What do I need to do for setup?
Nothing technical. You provide the access details we need, and our team handles the connection and testing.
Which platforms does ProfIT publish to?
Your website, Facebook Marketplace and up to 20 Facebook groups you're a member of. Your inventory is also exported to Autotrader.ca automatically every day.
How does auto-relist work?
In Settings you choose how often and at what time. ProfIT deletes the Marketplace listing and publishes it again as a new listing, the same way you would do it by hand.
Does my team need training?
If they can send a Telegram message, they can use ProfIT. Commands use the last 6 digits of the VIN plus a word like “deposit”, “sold” or “new price”.
What's the difference between Basic and Unlimited?
Basic includes one user with one Facebook account. Unlimited lets your dealership connect as many users as you need — each with their own Facebook account for Marketplace posting — so every salesperson can post listings, mark deposits and record sales themselves. Unlimited also adds Bill of Sale generation with electronic signatures.
What counts as a user?
A user is one team member connected to the ProfIT Telegram bot, linked to one Facebook account that ProfIT posts from. One dealership can have several users — for example, a content manager and three salespeople would be four users, each posting from their own Facebook account.
How does the Bill of Sale work?
Send the last 6 of the VIN, “BOS” and the agreed price. ProfIT reads the buyer's details from a licence photo, takes the vehicle details from your listing, calculates tax, adds the extended warranty if there is one, and creates signing links for you and the buyer. Once both sign, the bot sends you the completed document.
